Agricultural Crop Spraying:

Crop spraying is carried out using a Self Propelled Case SP 3000 which can spray at 12, 18, 20, 21 and 24 metre tramlines. Low ground pressure floatation tyres are used during the winter and early spring to help prevent soil compaction and to aid travelling in wet conditions.

Narrow Row crop wheels are then used to prevent crop damage at later growth stages and when spraying crops grown in beds such as potatoes. The high ground clearance makes the sprayer particularly suited to later fungicide applications and the dessication of oilseed rape.

The sprayer has adjustable wheel tracks from 72 to 90 inches to suit a range of tramlines and this makes it ideal for crops such as maize.

Backup is provided to the sprayer with the use of a water bowser.
